Co-Founder of the LGBTQ Caregiver Center and Founder of Caregiver Whole Health

Jennifer Henius, LCSW (she/her/hers), is a transformative healthcare leader and social impact innovator with nearly two decades at the US Department of Veterans Affairs, spanning direct clinical care to executive roles including serving on the national leadership team of VA’s Caregiver Support Program. Jennifer incorporated LGBTQ+ sensitivity into VA’s caregiver training curriculum and contributed to the development of LGB health policy through VA’s LGBTQ+ Health Program Office. Jennifer's work in and outside of VA, has significantly impacted the lives of thousands of Veterans and caregivers nationwide.

Following her distinguished federal service, Jennifer founded Yoga4Caregivers, an award-winning initiative supporting caregiver well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also co-founded the LGBTQ Caregiver Center, a virtual resource and training initiative, aimed at raising awareness of the unique needs of LGBTQ+ caregivers.

Jennifer is also the founder of Caregiver Whole Health™, a social impact business aimed at empowering caregivers through holistic wellness programs. She remains a senior consultant, speaker, and advisor to various organizations in support of caregiving, wellness, and whole health leadership.
